SAVE-THE-DATE: Virtual Q&A with 3-Time Olympian Kara Lynn Joyce on Thursday, January 28 starting at 7pm

Join us for a Virtual Q&A with 3-Time Olympian Kara Lynn Joyce and our Team Manager Tom Luchsinger on Thursday, January 28, 2021 starting at 7pm on Zoom (link to join meeting here). Kara will chat with Team Manager Tom Luchsinger about competing at the highest levels of our sport, being an LGBTQ+ ally in aquatics and how she started a company in retirement. Kara was a participant in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games where she earned multiple medals. While attending the University of Georgia, Kara was the first woman to win back to back to back to back NCAA Division I titles in the 50 and 100 Freestyles. Yes, that is an undefeated collegiate streak in TWO events! Kara retired from swimming in 2012 to start a leadership academy for young women. For more information about Kara, visit her website at: www.karalynnjoyce.com

Fun Fact: TNYA Team Manager Tom Luchsinger and Kara Lynn have been friends for almost 10 years. Kara Lynn was one of the most supportive members on the US National Team when Tom publicly came out as gay in 2014. This will be a very special chat that you won’t want to miss!
