TNYA is celebrating Pride Month and the 2025 UrbanSwim Pride Swim with a potluck picnic on the North Lawn of Riverside Park (access via 80th Street).
This is a great opportunity to get to know your teammates, enjoy the weather, and support the team. All are welcome, even if you don’t take part in the open water swim!
We suggest a donation of $15 but invite you to donate more if you’re able to; we raised $3,000 last year and are hoping to exceed that total this year!
Proceeds will go towards the Fortoul fund, which helps ensure that our community remains financially accessible, and keeping our adult learn to swim program the most affordable program of its kind in NYC.
If you don’t want to go to the trouble of bringing something, you’re welcome to contribute $35 which we’ll use to fill the potluck gaps!
We ask that you RSVP by June 5th, 2025 (though we would appreciate hearing from you sooner) so we can coordinate food assignments and identify what gaps we need to fill.
