TNYA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable corporation incorporated in New York State. Accordingly, TNYA is governed in accordance with bylaws adopted by its membership pursuant to New York’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Law, which vest day-to-day management responsibility in our Board of Directors.

As a masters aquatics club, our organization and its members are also governed by the national governing bodies for our four disciplines:

These national governing bodies provide general guidelines for our activities as well as insurance coverage for our operations and our members. All of our members and coaches are required to have active memberships with their respective national governing bodies to participate in our programs. As a local amateur athletic organization, we are also bound by the rules and regulations of the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

Unfortunately, our diving program is not an official USAD club as our diving practices are not operating at this time. For general information about our diving program, visit our diving team page.

Pursuant to our bylaws and obligations imposed on us by our national governing bodies, the Board has adopted a comprehensive Code of Conduct and anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policy. Agreement to these policies is a condition of membership in TNYA or participation in any TNYA activity.

Additional policies adopted by our Board include our Privacy Policy and Conflict of Interest Policy.
