Tom is a lifelong swimmer and has competed at the highest levels winning 10 NCAA All-American titles while studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and competing on the US National team where he swam the 200m butterfly at the 2013 World Championships.

Outside of the pool, Tom graduated from Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sport Science in the spring of 2013 and now works at NBC-Universal in adverting sales.  He is a leader within the swimming community – serving as a professional ambassador for Athlete Ally, sitting on the USA Swimming Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and swimming as an Athlete Member with the New York Athletic Club (NYAC).  He was also a coach at TNYA’s annual swim camp in Fort Lauderdale in 2016.

Given his passion for and vast knowledge of aquatics, as well as the inner workings of the United States Aquatic Sports (USAS) and Team New York, we are absolutely thrilled to have Tom in this role.
