Croft Vaughn was a competitive diver for nearly 10 years. He trained with Olympic coach John Wingfield at Ball State University Dive Camps and medaled at Indiana State High School Championships. He went on to represent New York University, training under Todd Kolean and Olympic silver medalist Scott Donie. Croft taught diving at NYU for 3 and a half years before being recruited by Team New York Aquatics to launch their diving program in January 2011.
Croft is committed to creating a safe, sustainable, and collegial environment. He works with divers of every skill level to establish good foundations and proper skills progressions. He works with each one of our divers, experienced or completely new to the sport, to meet their goals, whether that’s competing at FINA Worlds or simply learning a forward dive.
Outside of TNYA, Croft works in finance, writes amazing plays, and is a 2-time international advanced line dance champion.
