After 25 years, the International Gay & Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) Championships returned to New York City (NYC) for the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. Team New York Aquatics (TNYA) was honored to host IGLA 2019 during NYC Pride 2019, WorldPride 2019 and Stonewall50. IGLA 2019 included six days of athletic competition June 24 to June 29, and eight days of social & cultural events June 23 to June 30. Thank you to all of the organizers, volunteers, officials, athletes and spectators that made IGLA 2019 incredible and unforgettable! We are excited to see our IGLA family again next year in Australia for IGLA 2020 (Melbourne 2020)!
