TNYA Spotlight: Liz Gately

The board is excited to announce Liz Gately is our Teenya of the Month for April 2011.

Liz (with some other fabulous Teenyas) organized and saw through completion the One Hour Swim this year raising money for our three beneficiaries — the Aids Service Center, Immigration Equality and the Anti-Violence Project. Liz has been swimming with TNYA since 2009. She is primarily a Brooklyn morning swimmer and quite the open water enthusiast. Indeed, she plans to participate in the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in June with a relay of other Teenyas.
